Captain David Duny

Captain David Duny has been passionate about boats since he was a boy.  He first learned to sail when his dad got stationed at the U.S. Naval Academy in 1973.  At age 13, he took additional sailing courses in Monterey CA so he could sail Cal 30s around Monterey Bay.  David never passes up an opportunity to be on and around the water and is always available to talk about boats.

David earned his master’s degree in financial management and had a successful career in healthcare administration.  This success allowed him to purchase his first boat over 30 years ago.  Since that time, he has owned several boats and currently has a 42′ sailboat.

Captain David left healthcare in 2017 to pursue his passion for being on the water. Since then, he and his wife Laura have sailed their boat from Maine to the Dry Tortugas.  He holds a 50-ton Masters License with Sailing and Towing endorsements and has logged over 50,000 miles.  David has made several yacht deliveries covering the coast from Maine to New Orleans and from Annapolis to the BVI’s.  These deliveries have provided the opportunity to sail in varied conditions, on many types of boats, including runabouts, trawlers, sailboats, and catamarans.

Captain David doesn’t want to just list and sell boats, he is eager to help you find the right boat or the right buyer!

Griffin Rosen

As a native Long Islander I was always surrounded by family and friends who owned boats and jet skis. Once I had my license and my first car my next purchase was a jet ski where I would go out in the late afternoons to blast around the bay. While always having jet skis and motorcycles, when I met my wife it was time to sell the toys and purchase my first boat which was a 245 Sea Ray Weekender. After a quick season with this boat I knew being out on the water was where I wanted to spend my free time in the warmer months. From there on forward I would purchase, clean up and sell my boats for a profit to move on to a larger and newer boat. When purchasing my last boat I did not have the best experience with my broker and I wanted to change that for others moving forward. It’s important when you are purchasing a boat that it should be a positive and exciting experience! With that being said whenever my friends or family need a boat, car, or motorcycle sold they reach out to me because of my talent to price and sell things easily. Now I bring my passion for boating and my enjoyment of selling to the boating world.
