Captain Paul Taormino

Captain Paul was raised in Mantoloking, NJ where his affinity for the ocean flourished through surfing and boating. Following his graduation from the University of Colorado Boulder, Paul went on to establish several technology companies on both the east and west coasts.

His countless boating adventures have led him to explore multiple locations including California, Mexico, the Bahamas, Florida, and all along the eastern and western seaboard. His extensive travels have helped Paul develop his passion for exploration and maritime expertise.

Paul utilizes his mechanical knowledge, comprehensive understanding of boating, technology and negotiation skills to ensure satisfaction for both buyer and seller.

Paul and his wife Sara reside in Naples, Florida with their two children and dog Hurley.

Jeramie Devries

Jeramie Devries was born and raised in west Michigan along the beautiful coast of lake Michigan. I fell in love with boats and lake life at a young age. I have years of experience in sales both buying and selling boats.

When I’m not helping others pursue there dream on the water I love to golf, fish, and spend time at the family cottage. I’ve been married 16 years and am a proud father of two awesome kids age 10 and 13.

Ryan Ross

Born and raised near an Inland lake town, Ryan’s childhood was filled with countless adventures on the water. He would spend endless summers learning to ski barefoot, wakeboard, and slalom ski. Those early experiences sparked a flame within him that would shape the course of his life. As he grew older, Ryan’s love for boating intensified. He delved into many different aspects of the marine world, constantly yearning to acquire knowledge about different types of boats, and the intricacies of navigation. His thirst for understanding propelled him to explore various water sports and activities and deepen his connection with the water. Recognizing his unwavering passion, Ryan decided to turn his love for boating into a career. He became a boat broker, dedicated to assisting others in finding their perfect vessel for unforgettable experiences on the water. With his persistent learning, extensive knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm, Ryan quickly gained a reputation for being a trusted advisor in the boating industry. His clients appreciate his ability to truly understand their desires and requirements when it comes to selecting their dream boat. Ryan takes the time to listen attentively, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met. Captain Jonathan Westbrook

I grew up on the water in South Carolina.  My love for the water began as a small child fishing with my grandmother.  I began my career on the water in my teens, which evolved into a two decade long career as a large yacht Captain, additionally Estate Manager in various countries, asset manager, and also small business owner in the marine industry.  I have owned personal boats from 25’-90’ and lived aboard several of the larger ones.  I reside in Fort Lauderdale, FL with my Caribbean island dog.

Dee Hunsucker

Following a successful career in federal service, Dee spent six years developing training courses for the US Navy, then worked for a nonprofit focused on marine science. She wanted to continue applying the variety of skills she has accumulated to a marine-focused business. Dee grew up on the water and around boats, so Knot 10 was a natural fit. She joins a robust team that supports our yacht sales and closings.

When not working, Dee enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff on the Wye River. You’ll often find them out fishing or just enjoying a sunset cruise. Her other interests include gardening, cooking, traveling, and exploring wines.

Joshua Garner

Josh was raised on Lake Erie, growing up enjoying the blessing of water recreation and the beautiful lakefront scenery throughout the seasons.  His family has owned boats throughout the years in Ohio and Florida, allowing for fresh and saltwater fishing as well as cruising and other aquatic activities.
Josh worked for Skipperbud’s in Lakeside Marblehead, selling new, used, and brokerage boats with exclusive dealer rights to twenty-nine new lines and endless inventory opportunities with used and brokerage sales.  Josh joined Skipperbuds shortly after Marine Max became the parent company.  He’s worked multiple boat shows in Ohio and Michigan and gained excellent experience working for the largest boat dealer in the Midwest.
First in Josh’s life is being a Christ follower who enjoys church, playing in a worship band, and other faith-based activities/duties.  As a musician, he has lived in Nashville performing and writing songs throughout the years and continues to do so off and on.  Travel is another passion and has connected him with many great friends worldwide.  His girlfriend and Labrador Callie keep him in line despite his adventurous nature.  Regardless of where he roams, a staple where he hangs his hat is a nearby water source and patch of woods.  He will work hard with integrity and honesty to give you the best boat-buying experience within his power.

Mike Rice

Mike has been around boating his whole life, from small boats and jetskis on the lakes in PA and on the Chesapeake in MD, to now offshore fishing out of Delaware’s Indian River Marina, on his 47′ Buddy Davis Sportfish. He is well-rounded on many makes and models of boats, skiffs to sportfish and motor yachts.

His experience of boats goes deep and hands-on, with performing repowers on his own boats. (Viking & Buddy Davis) He has knowledge of every aspect of a boat, from engines, running gears, and electronics to plumbing. He can supply a buyer with more insight on a boat they are looking to purchase.

David Risch

David grew up sailing and racing with his family on Long Island Sound. At age 17, he formed a company that provided on-board sailing lessons, boat management and longrange deliveries. At age 23 David acquired his USCG 75-ton Ocean Operators license. For the last 30 years, David has volunteered his expertise with yacht clubs and racing organizations teaching ocean racing preparation, seamanship, and navigation. After living in Marion, MA and cruising and racing his C & C 40 throughout the northeast for over 30 years, he and his wife Diane sold the family home in 2021 to live aboard their Gulfstar’49 in Jacksonville, FL.
