Alex’s love for boating began in 1996 with a deeply personal moment: taking his newborn son, Kyle, out on the water for the very first time. From that day forward, boating became more than just a hobby—it became a way of life. Cruising the Occoquan, Potomac and Chesapeake Bay with his wife and two children, Alex discovered not only the freedom of the water, but also the warmth of a close-knit boating community that became extended family. After a successful career as both an IT entrepreneur and U.S. Government Civil Servant for Homeland Security, Alex followed his passion south, relocating to Florida in 2018 to embrace the full spectrum of boating life that include saltwater fishing, diving, spearfishing and docking at the vibrant waterfront restaurants that define South Florida’s unique boating culture.

After helping friends and fellow boaters navigate their boat-buying journeys, Alex noticed a common gap in the industry: a lack of true customer focus. Seeing the opportunity to bring a higher level of service and care, he joined Knot 10 Yacht Sales to help both first-time and seasoned boaters find their ideal vessel with confidence. His firsthand boating experience along the East Coast—from the DC metro area down to South Florida—Alex offers local insight, honest guidance, and a dedication to matching clients with the right boat the first time. His mission? To help you live your best boating life, stress-free and fully equipped for new adventures.

Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Mike Forsyth has spent a lifetime on the water, developing a deep appreciation for boating that has grown into a true passion.  Now proudly serving as a Yacht Broker with Knot 10.  Mike brings the same dedication and customer first approach that made his family owned home renovation and HVAC business a trusted name.

Whether it’s weekends on Lake St. Clair or summers spent cruising the waterways, boating is more than a hobby it’s a way of life for Mike and his family.
Based in Windsor/Essex County and an active member of Beachgrove Golf and Country Club, Mike is thrilled to help clients navigate the buying and selling process with confidence.

Christy Jackowski is a Closing Coordinator at Knot10, with expertise in finance and customer relations. Christy is responsible for managing the closing process, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time, while maintaining seamless communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

With a strong background in financial processes and client communication, Christy has consistently delivered efficient, high-quality service, helping clients navigate complex transactions with ease. Her attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts ensure that every closing runs smoothly from start to finish.

Wayne Thompson

After being raised around boats in southern New Jersey, I developed a love for being on the water. I have been working in the marine industry for 35 Years in South Florida. I have held positions as parts manager, service manager, warranty claims administrator and dry stack facility manager. I have also been a licensed captain for 35 years, worked as a tow boat operator and ran my own charter fishing boat. Currently living on a classic Chris Craft with my young son and looking to help others create lasting memories on the water.

Quintin Davis is a dynamic force in the world of yacht brokerage. Quintin has sharpened his ability to make quick, decisive choices in high-pressure environments while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to clients’ well-being and compassion for them.

Quintin’s journey in the marine industry began as the manager of a boat rental company in Puce ON., where he developed hands-on expertise in vessel operations, maintenance, and customer relations. This role ignited his passion for watercraft and enhanced his ability to connect with clients, helping him understand their needs on a personal level.

A significant influence in Quintin’s career has been his mentor, a successful business owner and yacht broker who founded Freedom Marine. His mentor’s guidance has deeply shaped Quintin’s approach to customer service and his in-depth knowledge of the industry, making him an invaluable resource for clients.

Known for his infectious enthusiasm for all things nautical, Quintin excels in guiding clients through the exciting process of finding their perfect boat.
