1995 Pursuit 3100 Express Fisherman
This is the lesser known “Pursuit” version of the pre-1992 facelift of the legendary Tiara 3100 Open, basically the prior Tiara hull continued under the Pursuit brand, by that time the hull well refined in production and not suffering from the well known moisture intrusion issues of the early facelift model years. At the same time the facelift 3100 continued under the Tiara brand, the difference between the two being primarily the addition of prop pockets, split-level cockpit and helm due to shallower drive-line angle, a transom door. Most experienced with both models say the facelift resulted in a marginally drier ride at the expense of longer to get on plane and less docking maneuverability, the interiors are virtually identical but for the nice see-through bulkhead and door, which this version has.
Powered by a pair of fresh water cooled straight inboard 310 horsepower Mercruiser 454’s, everything works and has been well maintained, a good, solid boat that can handle just about anything the captain can.
I sold this boat to the current owner in 2019, good boat, good owner, photos and video (which includes his pre-purchase trial run) from back then, will update when the boat is unwrapped.
