If you're looking for a proven, exceptionally well-equipped cruising yacht that's already been prepared for extended travel, this boat deserves serious consideration.

Purchased in May 2024 in Cos Cob, Connecticut, she was extensively upgraded and outfitted for a primarily solo Great Loop adventure. She successfully completed the Great Loop in January 2026, and along the way received significant investments in mechanical systems, electronics, docking technology, ground tackle, tender equipment, HVAC, safety equipment and cruising gear.

While in Solomons Island, Maryland recently, approximately $12,500 in additional engine service and preventative maintenance was completed.

CURRENT 2,000-HOUR ENGINE SERVICE

The twin Cummins 6BTA diesels have currently received extensive service, including:

• Remove, clean, reassemble and pressure-test both aftercoolers, which were replaced new in 2025

• New starboard seawater pump

• New port seawater pump impeller

• Valve-lash adjustment on both engines

• New air filters

• All 12 fuel injectors replaced with new

• New starboard fuel lift pump

• New port and starboard serpentine belts

• All engine anodes replaced

• Additional miscellaneous preventative-maintenance items

This represents approximately $12,500 in current service work.

Engine oil has been changed approximately every 250 hours.

CUMMINS DIESEL POWER

Powered by twin Cummins 6BTA diesels, these mechanically straightforward engines have developed an excellent reputation among long-distance cruisers for serviceability and parts availability.

During the 1,000-hour service, both engine aftercoolers were replaced with new units. Engine and generator oils were serviced, water-pump impellers replaced and the mechanical systems inspected.

An Onan 11.5 kW diesel generator provides substantial onboard power.

A Reverso oil-change system makes routine engine and generator oil changes significantly easier.

DOCKMATE REMOTE DOCKING SYSTEM

For easier short-handed operation, the boat has been equipped with a DockMate wireless remote-control system.

The system allows the operator to control:

• Bow thruster

• Stern thruster

• Port transmission — forward/reverse

• Starboard transmission — forward/reverse

This allows the captain to maneuver the vessel from different locations aboard the boat—or while handling lines from the dock—making this an outstanding feature for a couple or solo cruiser.

NEW GARMIN ELECTRONICS

The electronics package was extensively upgraded at Washburn's Boat Yard in Solomons Island in 2024 and includes:

• Garmin 12" multifunction chartplotter

• Garmin radar

• VHF radio

• New VHF antenna

• A Starlink Mini system has also been installed, providing excellent internet connectivity while cruising.

HIGHFIELD RIB & WEAVER DAVIT SYSTEM

Included is a newer 10' Highfield RIB powered by a 6 HP Tohatsu outboard.

The tender is mounted on the swim platform using a stainless-steel Weaver davit system.

Equipment includes:

• Weaver stainless-steel davits

• Weaver Leaver swivel outboard mount

• Stainless-steel retrieval winch

• 6 HP Tohatsu outboard

The swivel system allows the outboard to rotate approximately 90 degrees so the vertically mounted dinghy can be raised without routinely removing the engine.

UPGRADED GROUND TACKLE

The anchoring system was substantially upgraded for serious cruising and includes:

• Mantus 65-lb anchor new in 2024

• Approximately 200' of 5/16" galvanized chain

• Approximately 150' of 5/8" braided line for a total of 350’ of rode

• Original 35-lb anchor retained as a backup/stern anchor
