Overview
Only two owner Jersey 1985 44ft Devil design with a huge fishing cockpit. Jerseys have the reputation on the east coast for their solid hull construction, excellent fish drawing vessel with spacious layout. The Jersey will make a great weekender, charter, liveaboard or dive boat.
Large Salon includes traditional teak woodwork with modern panel inserts throughout with properly sized furniture, separate Salon AC/Heating unit, stereo, 37-inch flat screen TV, tinted salon windows and custom slide away blinds. Galley down with dinette to port can be converted to two-person bunk and features new flooring, countertop, SS sink, newer full size refrigerator freezer with combo microwave coffee maker above, stove top and over combo. The galley has abundant storage all around. Forward of the galley features an electric 12-volt head, vanity, and separate shower stall with two entrance doors (one from galley and one from forward stateroom). Forward stateroom features queen size bed, closet, drawer and cabinet space, small flat screen TV. Stateroom has newly installed reverse cycle air conditioning/heating unit.
The huge cockpit is arranged for serious fishing. Newly fiber glassed and reconfigured cockpit has docking controls with storage incorporated, fish door, new two-person cushioned seatie facing aft with storage draws for fishing supplies. Fresh and raw water washdown spigots and freshwater pier connection.
The flybridge has a hardtop, forward seating for four people, port seating for three with storage and two captain’s chairs at helm. Garman 12 inch touch screen combo navigation, chart plotter, depth finder. Radar, Auto Pilot, VHF radio and CB. Outfitted spreader lights AC & DC. Full tuna tower with outriggers and center rigger for way back line. Tuna tower has controls with sun cover canvass roof. Boat will come with all offshore tackle, rods, gaffs, etc...
Powered by 671 Johnson and Towers diesels 485 hp each with approximately 2,500 hours on vessel since second owner. Starboard engine had MOH when purchased by second owner. Port engine has just had a rebuild in 2023. Cruises at 20 kts at 1950 RPMs. Westerbeke 7.7 generator runs entire boat no issues.
The bottom is freshly painted, and vessel is equipped with spare wheels, shaft, rudder, raw water pump and other ancillary items.
