Ryan’s passion for the water started when he was a kid growing up on Kent Island in the Chesapeake Bay. He quickly developed a passion for fishing and boating and still considers fishing to be his favorite hobby years later. Having lived in Maryland, Florida, and North Carolina, Ryan has spent a significant amount of time in waterways up and down the East Coast.

Ryan also gained substantial marine knowledge through working at a boat yard and marina for a few years assisting with repairs on vessels and haul-outs. After going off to college and a successful career in Software Engineering within the Space and Defense industries, Ryan circled back to his roots by joining Knot10 and now helps fellow boaters fuel their passion for the water as well. He is currently located in Wilmington, North Carolina and mainly serves clients in the surrounding areas.
