1996 Sea Ray 440 Express Bridge

This SR Express Bridge has been set up as a cruiser and liveaboard. Ideal for being self contained in the Bahamas or any remote destination.

The Sea Ray 440 Express Bridge is a fine example of a sleek flybridge sport yacht. Its ergonomically designed interior and attention to detail distinguish it from its competitors. The 440 Express Bridge with Caterpillar 3126s and a carefully crafted hull, provides outstanding performance. The slip-stream exhaust with lift-type mufflers makes it quiet as well. With 400-gallons of fuel, 100-gallon pressure water system, and the best operational and safety systems afloat, this is one very advanced sport yacht. The walk-thru bridge has an adjustable captain’s chair, forward and aft bench seating for guests, a wet bar with icemaker, and a cocktail table that stores out of sight. At the helm, a custom dash places every control, switch, gauge, and throttle at your fingertips. With a full aft bench seat and optional adjustable cocktail table, the roomy self-bailing cockpit provides plenty of space for entertaining. Tinted sliding glass doors lead from the cockpit to the salon. Two transom doors provide easy access to the swim platform. A bench seat for two is found on the foredeck. Access from the cockpit is via the deep recessed walkaround; from the bridge, simply step through the hinged venturi windshield. In the salon, a comfortable sofa – dinette converts to sleeping quarters for two. Guests will also enjoy the entertainment center with TV and stereo. The mid-stateroom has a full-size bed, cedar-lined hanging locker with mirrored door and large vanity. There’s also a separate head with VacuFlush toilet and shower. The built-in vanity in the mid-stateroom has deep drawers and a large compartment to provide plenty of room to stow belongings. In the master stateroom, a full-size bed with mattress promises a good night’s sleep. It features a private entertainment center with TV, mirrored vanity with settee, generous storage, and private access to the master head. The master head can be accessed from the forward stateroom or the salon. It has a VacuFlush toilet, vanity, and shower with tempered glass door. The fully appointed galley has a three-burner electric stove, upright refrigerator – freezer, microwave and convenience package with coffeemaker, blender, and icemaker. Abaft the breakfast bar, a desk and chair provide a quiet place to plan the day’s activities or your next dinner party.

The 1996 Sea Ray 440 Express Bridge is a 44-foot motor yacht known for combining the spaciousness of a larger cruiser with the handling of an express cruiser. It was a popular model in the mid-1990s and is well-regarded for its interior volume, open living spaces, and practical layout.

The helm station is extremely comfortable and has all the equipment required to make navigation a breeze. There is a fully adjustable electronic helm seat, twin Simrad chart plotter/smart displays with radar and depth sounders. The mercury throttle and joystick controls offer the captain the ability to dock and operate this vessel completely stress free. High quality toggle switches to the left of the helm seat control everything onboard from the bilge pumps and electric hatches to the LED lights and the horn.

On deck this boat really is all about its abundance of seating and entertainment. The bow area offers a huge space that can be utilized in several ways. It can be one large sun pad, twin chaises to port and starboard, or can be converted into a dining/cocktail area with a large table. Aft of the console is much more seating with large seats to port and starboard as well as a large settee (this settee opens vertically via a switch at the helm with a huge storage space beneath it) with a table. Just forward of the swim platform is the large aft sun pad that is fully electronic and adjustable. Also noticeable throughout the deck area are eight JL audio speakers powered by twin JL amplifiers and a fusion head unit with remote controls in calculated spaces throughout the vessel. The fiberglass hardtop offers a retractable sunroof if you’re looking for some time in the sun. However, if relaxing in the shade is more your speed, have no worries there is fully electronic sure-shade that stretches 7 feet aft of the hard top providing coverage over the settee and aft sun pad.

Entering below deck from the door on the port side it offers a full beam living space. There are large windows to port and starboard that let in plenty of natural light. There is a large counter space to port with a microwave and television. You will also find your main power distribution panel in this space. Forward to port is a large head with a sink, shower and vacuflush toilet. On the starboard side of the indoor living quarters is the very accommodation space. This area offers comfortability whether it is being used as a large berth or a settee. There is ample storage in multiple lockers. The H350 offers a below deck space that simply is not found in any other bowrider-style vessel on the market.
