Descriptions

Full Description of this Great Boat

As you enter the salon through the stainless steel framed sliding door, you have unobstructed line of sight forward to the windshield. This large "common" area encompasses the salon, galley, and lower steering station. This custom layout ensures those in the galley area preparing a meal or drinks won't feel isolated from the rest of the group. To port there is an L-shaped Settee on with entertainment center and built-in storage on the facing starboard wall. Also unlike most 48's this boat has an access door to the port side walkway just forward of the sofa.   Forward and to starboard, across from the galley, is the lower helm station with an access door to the starboard side deck. Directly across from the helm station is the spacious U-shaped galley, complete with residential style appliances and fixtures. Forward, the private guest stateroom consists of cross-laid bunks with a dedicated head directly across the hallway. The master stateroom, featuring an island berth, is all the way forward. The master has its own private head while the shower is shared between the two staterooms.

  • Beautiful satin varnish on teak paneling and cabinetry throughout
  • Push button handles for drawers and cupboards for security while underway
  • Cruisair Air Conditioner- 3 Zones
  • Removable headliner for complete access
  • Stainless steel hardware throughout

Salon

The salon, surrounded on all sides by windows that serve to enhance the already "spacious" feel, features a large L-shaped settee on the port side covered in a warm and supple Ultra Leather. Storage compartments can be found under the settee's cushions. The handcrafted hydraulic-assist teak table can be adjusted for height as desired. Located on the facing wall forward, the retractalbe 20" Sony LCD TV.  There's an ice maker under the lower helm seat just forward of the TV. A red overhead light is located above the lower steering station for operating at night.

  • Home theater system with 5- Disc Sony DVD player and 20" Sony LCD TV
  • Lower steering control station with helm seat
  • Teak and holly interior floor throughout
  • Custom made engine access hatches
  • Diamond Sea-Glaze® sliding door from cockpit to salon

Galley

This 48E features a spacious U-Shaped galley with beautiful black counter tops and satin varnished teak panels and cabinetry. Essentially sharing the same space as the salon and lower steering station is a detail that will be appreciated when entertaining. The galley has drawer and locker storage space under the counter surface as well as overhead cabinets above the serving counter. There is a double basin sink with pullout faucet head. Forward, a microwave/convection oven is built in under the 3-burner electric cooktop. The Dometic refrigerator/freezer runs on 12V/120V.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom features a center island queen bed with comfortable mattress which makes getting in and out as well as changing linens hassle free. There's a cedar-lined hanging locker, outboard cabinets, and under-bed pullout drawers for your belongings. A 20' Sharp LCD TV with Sony DVD player is built into the aft bulkhead. Side portlights and a Bomar overhead hatch with sliding screen/shade provide both ambient lighting and ventilation as needed.

The teak and holly sole as well as the satin finished cabinetry and walls give the master head a warm and inviting feel in contrast to cold gelcoated surfaces. The granite counter top is a breeze to maintain given the absence of a fiddle rail. To maximize living space, the shower is shared by both staterooms. The Tecma electric heads were chosen for their reliability given the absence of vacuum pumps and tanks and their associated seals.

Guest Stateroom

The private guest stateroom features two berths, numerous storage lockers and cubbies to include a cedar lined hanging locker, built in Sharp LCD TV, Sony DVD player and sound system as well as dedicated climate controls. Multiple stainless steel port lights offer great ventilation and ambient lighting. A full-height mirror on the door is functional as well as helping to visually open up the space for your guests.

A dedicated head is directly across the hall from the guest stateroom with the shower forward.

Heads

Two large heads with single shower layout. The shower has a one piece glass door. There are fiberglass molded sinks and granite countertops. Satin varnished teak walls and cabinets.
