Descriptions
Manufacturer Provided Description
The Glastron GT 249 twin-cabin cruiser comes with everything thatÂ's needed in a family cruiser, including a surprisingly modest price. The space-efficient, one level cockpit (no step to trip over) features a family-friendly seating arrangement that consists of a deluxe bucket helm seat flanked by an L-shaped passenger seat. ThereÂ's also a rear-facing aft bench. And in seconds, the portside seats fold down to create a large sunlounge, which also serves nicely as a dual sleeper sofa (and expands total overnight sleeping capacity of the GT 249 to six people). Below deck, there are cabins fore and aft, upholstered in a rich combination of leatherette and fabric. The GT 249 galley comes with an ice box, faux-granite countertop, sink and alcohol stove. Cherrywood cabinets add a warm and contemporary elegance to the cabinÂ's overall look and feel. The head compartment features a fiberglass shower stall, sink and porta-pottie. Other standard features on the GT 249 include a Jensen AM/FM/CD player, tilt steering wheel, an 18-gallon water system, four vented cabin windows and a color-coordinated Sunbrella Bimini top. Several options are available on the GT 249, including dockside air conditioning with reverse heat, snap-in cockpit carpet, transom shower, Sirius satellite radio, china head with pumpout and camper canvas packages. Certain to be popular is the attractively-priced XL Package that includes some of the most popular options for the GT 249: snap-in carpet, hour meter, depth sounder, dash-mounted stereo remote, chrome speaker grills, stainless steel cupholders and stainless steel rubrail.

Mercruiser and Volvo engines available.
