This is a unique opportunity to own a real Chesapeake Deadrise that was custom built as a cruiser. She has the comfort features to make you happy and also can be a hard core fishing machine.
Due to health, the owner has to let her go. The photos I took are preliminary as the boat will be completely cleaned inside and out and all of the clutter and accumulation of gear will be organized. I think this boat will not last long so that is why I went ahead and posted the photos taken 1/29/2020.
Lots of different things can be done to make her into a perfect Great Loop Vessel. The cabin top and overhang could support lots of toys, sun pads, etc. She is fish ready right now. Everything is up and running.
More info and photos coming but don't wait to make an offer on this one!
Chesapeake Boats Inc. was founded in 1998 by David Mason, a local fisherman who decided to build his own boat designed to work the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Word got out that he was building a boat for himself, and before he completed his boat, someone made him an offer on it that he couldn't refuse.
This traditional Chesapeake Bay deadrise hull has all the amenities needed for fishing, cruising, or partying with a couple dozen of your closest friends. She was custom built for a knowledgeable owner, and no option or amenity was overlooked. The huge cockpit can provide room for a head boat fishing trip or a dance floor. The grill and sink provide for outdoor cooking and the large overhang will provide shade or shelter from an afternoon downpour.
In the cabin, a fully functional galley and large dinette can handle a large group of diners, while a large console filled with electronics offer comfort and confidence for the captain and two companions.
The galley is tucked in the port aft corner of the pilothouse and features an ample Formica countertop, sink, microwave and cook top.
