Overview
Extensive Preventive Maintenance
With just 750 original hours on the boat and its twin Cummins QSC 500 diesel engines, this Sea Ray 44 Sedan Bridge has benefited from an exceptional level of preventive maintenance. Although the engines have not yet reached 1,000 hours, the owners proactively completed the comprehensive Cummins 1,000-hour cooling system service in October 2025.
Highlights include:
Only 750 original hours on the boat and twin Cummins QSC 500 diesels
Proactive Cummins 1,000-hour service completed (October 2025)
Aftercoolers and heat exchangers removed, ultrasonically cleaned, pressure tested, and reassembled with new O-rings
New impellers, thermostats, drive belts, crankcase breather filters, and engine zincs
Cooling system serviced with fresh Cummins ES Compleat coolant
Valve adjustment completed
Transmission and fuel coolers cleaned
AirSep filters serviced; turbochargers, alternator, idler pulleys, and tensioner bearings inspected
Custom black Seamark/Sunbrella canvas and enclosure by Gioia Sails (2024)
Six new batteries and new bow thruster battery charger (2024)
Head pump duckbill valves replaced (2024)
Generator impeller and zinc replaced (2025)
Engine oil, oil filters, and fuel filters changed (May 2026)
Professionally winterized annually with routine oil, filter, and zinc service
This level of documented maintenance is rarely found and demonstrates ownership focused on reliability, longevity, and keeping the boat in exceptional mechanical condition.
