  • Since the original purchase, some systems have been replaced and some other improvements have been made, the most significant of which were

  • Shore power inlets were installed in the bow allowing the boat to be                                                                connected to shore power from either the bow or the stern.                                                      
  • The two original heads were replaced with much more                                                                reliable Raratan PH II units                                                      
  • The wind generator was replaced by 200 watts of solar panels                                                      
  • Lifting hoist for outboard motor                                                      
  • Wash down system
  • The original Dutchman main sail furling system was replaced with a                                                                Schaffer In-boom roller furler and new mainsail and genoa were purchased. Combined with the main halyard power winch, the In- boom roller furler makes raising and lowering the mainsail an easy, one person operation on virtually any point of sail. In addition, because the sail is being furled into the boom in can and is fully battened.                                                      
  • In 2015 all of the electronics and most of the other electrical systems on the boat were replaced by state of the art, NEMA 2000 equipment including:                                                               

○      Garmin 7212 xvs multifunction display                                                                        

○      Garmin HD radar                                                                        

○      Garmin XM weather receiver                                                                        

○      ICOM VHF radio                                                                        

○      A second VHF radio, Garmin was installed with active AIS that is integrated into the multifunction display.                                                                        

○      Garmin Sonar                                                                        

  • Magma 2000 watt inverter charger with remote controls.
  • New Raymarine speed/wind/depth gauges along with a new Raymarine Autopilot head.
  • Dodger, Bimini and Connector canvas was replaced in 2016
  • A new Mantus 45# anchor with new rode and chain replaced the original plow type anchor
  • The shore power cords and power inlets on the boat were converted to Smart Plug technology and are now protected by state of the art ECLI breakers.
  • The windless was replaced with a more capable unit
  • 2 new 4D AGM Lifeline house batteries were installed in 2019 and the engine alternator was converted to external, 3 stage regulation to match the charging characteristics of AGM batteries.
