The Sea Ray 280 Cuddy Cabin features a standard 310 horsepower MPI Bravo I MCM stern drive, a loaded cockpit and a spacious cabin for dining or resting. Features like color-coded wiring, high water bilge alarm system and a low-maintenance self-bailing fiberglass cockpit liner make the 280 Cuddy Cabin a wise family boating investment that will last for years to come. The roomy cockpit on the 280 Cuddy Cabin has a fiberglass seat - engine hatch system plus a full-width upholstered bench seat with bolsters for a comfortable, secure ride. As with every Sea Ray sport cruiser, the 280 Cuddy Cabin has strategically placed storage areas throughout the cockpit as well as important amenities for entertaining guests - like an entertainment center with cooler, glass rack, wet bar and trash receptacle, a carry-on cooler with dedicated storage, and indirect cockpit lighting for lengthy evening excursions. And for appropriate cruising music, Sea Ray supplies a Clarion AM- FM digital cassette stereo with six speakers and amplifier to set the mood. At the helm of the 280 Cuddy Cabin, Sea Ray's quality really comes through in the full-feature molded dash with burl instrument panel featuring custom backlit instrumentation, standard depth finder, compass and a urethane visor which minimizes windshield glare. The dash also sports an Italian mahogany solid wood tilt steering wheel. The thickly padded helm seat has a fiberglass storage base for durability and a large storage drawer, while deluxe back-to-back passenger seats fold down to become a lounger. The outside edges of wide, deep swim platform extend far enough for secure access to the dock. A stainless steel ladder is concealed within a special compartment for a neater appearance, and a pressurized transom shower is included for quick clean-ups. The walk-through transom door provides easy access to and from the water, making fishing, skiing or any other family water sport a lot easier to enjoy. A wide beam ensures a smooth, dry ride and also affords spacious interior accommodations. The large cabin contains a fully upholstered V-berth and a convertible dinette which can be removed to accommodate filler cushions for a comfortable sleep area. The enclosed head features all fiberglass construction with molded sink and vanity as well as a VacuFlush head with holding tank.
