Overview

“Cabernet” is a freshwater only vessel that has been well maintained and won’t last at this price. It is powered by twin 454 Crusader inboards rated at 300 HP each with only 1068 hours. This vessel also has a Kohler 6.5KW generator with only 108 hours.

Forward cabin has large V berth, with 6 drawers underneath. Four storage compartments, two to Port and two to Starboard above forward berth. Two closets one to Port, one to Starboard. Mirror and dressing table to Port side. Overhead hatch for plenty of ventilation. It shares the ducted reverse cycle heat / AC system the main cabin. A door separates the forward cabin from the galley for privacy.  Aft cabin berth lies across the beam. It has private head, including mirrors and sink, and separate shower on Port side. Mirror and dressing table to Starboard and hanging closet to Port. It has 5 portholes, 2 to Starboard, 1 to stern, and 2 in head / shower for good ventilation. It has a dedicated reverse cycle heat / AC system. A door separates it from the main cabin to ensure privacy.  The center main cabin has sofa and foot stools to Port side facing an are perfect for mounting your A/V system. Includes 5 storage cabinets to Starboard.  The main cabin includes a fully functional lower operating station. A smaller version of The Garmin chart-plotter (networked to the Garmin on the elevated bridge) is mounted on the station with all the gauges needed to monitor the operation of both engines. Included are tachometers, oil pressure and engine temp gauges. Toggle switches allow the operation of various functions from this location. The electrical panel Is concealed behind a decorative panel behind to Port in the main cabin. Engine room and mechanical access is gained through panels in the floor.  Three steps down from the main cabin is the Galley. To Starboard is a large refrigerator and an under-cabinet mounted microwave, coffee maker and sink. To Port is a large booth style eating area. The galley includes lot of storage all around.  Just beyond the galley is the second head. It includes mirrors and sink, and a separate shower.  Topside has a large hardtop that covers the sitting area on the stern with steps down to a swim deck. The retracting swim ladder stores underneath the swim deck. Shore power and water, and cable hookups are located here. On top of the hardtop is the auto tracking satellite TV dome. Removable davits are located off the stern sitting area to carry the dinghy when underway. The dinghy has a 15hp Evinrude. A separate davit is mounted to the Port upright for the hardtop to lower the engine to the dinghy when needed. Three steps up from the sitting area is the elevated operations station. A large ladder bench provides room to move around and operate the boat. The console instruments include Marine CB radio and full engine instrumentation. To Starboard of the console is bench seating. Additional seating is found in front of the console. The entire elevated station is enclosed by canvas and zippered windows. The zippered windows and canvas offer easy access the lower the radar dome and various antennas to navigate lower clearance areas. A large remote control spotlight is mounted on the front of the elevated station for night maneuvers. The operating station has good sight lines around the boat to aid in maneuvering while docking. Bow access is made easier by good walk ways and handrails. This makes it easy to move forward to assist in navigating locks and docking. The anchor winch and anchor are located on the bowsprit. Stainless hand railings encircle the boat providing a feeling of security and confidence while moving around.
