Overview
The Hatteras Double Cabin 40 Model is a time tested model from Hatteras Yachts that has always been extremely popular amongst weekend cruisers, island hoppers and great loopers. This particular vessel has been very well cared for and has all the options. Twin diesels caterpillar 3208s with 2500 hrs power the vessel and are all up to date on services. Also on board is a 8kw Onan generator with 1850 hrs which runs great. All galley appliances are working well and also includes a new refrigerator. A twin chiller A/C system keeps the interior cool on those hot summer days no matter where you are. An added bonus is the No Frills watermater which allows you to spend extended periods of time on anchor without having to worry about freshwater levels onboard. The vessel is equipped with an updated Garmin electronics touch screen package that makes navigation a breeze. The bimini top on the flybridge has recently been replaced and the flybridge offers another great outdoor space to enjoy.
The salon is a very large and comfortable space. There is a large sofa to the portside and an icemaker, while to port is a bar with twin seats and also a large bucket seat. All the carpet and soft goods are in great shape throughout the vessel.
The spacious main aft cabin has a queen sized centerline berth. There is ample storage to both port and starboard including a large closet. The en-suite head has a separate shower stall and is very spacious. This cabin has its own dedicated air handler and it keeps the cabin very comfortable.
The forward V-Berth cabin offers spacious accommodations for two guests. There is a large dayhead/guest head with a large shower stall located just aft of this cabin to the port side.
