Overview

Introducing "Knotty Dream" , an iconic 1989 Grand Banks 42 Classic. A beautiful trawler, with traditional lines, folding mast, teak decks, high bow, full keel, and hard chines. Arguably the most successful trawler design of all time,The semi-displacement hull design, coupled with high performance Cat 3208, 375 horsepower engines, place her in the "fast trawler" category.  This allows for a stable and comfortable ride at slow speeds while also allowing for faster speeds when needed.  She cruises comfortably at 8-10 knots for long range cruising, while capable of speeds up to 20 knots when needed. The powerful twin Cat diesels also make her easy to handle without the need of a thruster.

Wide side decks and side entry doors on either side make for ease when needing to go forward or handling fenders and lines.

Below, "Knotty Dream" is complete with two-staterooms, two heads, full galley, and saloon. The aft stateroom has been redesigned with a large queen bed with walk around space making for more comfortable accommodations.
