This 1982 Bertram 42 Convertible/Sport-Fish is one of the most popular sport fishing vessels of its time. Her exceptional seakeeping abilities, superb fishability, and quality construction earned for the Bertram 42 a reputation as a classic design. With the added Marlin tower this boat is designed for going big and deep. She has a spacious salon, step down galley, and two staterooms with a dual access head provide the amenities needed for those long fishing trips. Her foredeck includes tender chocks and a Marquipt 650 lb electric winch.
On the flybridge her electronics include Garmin 7212 with XM radar and Simrad Autopilot. add four VHF radios (1 Tower / 2 Flybridge / 1 Salon). The tower has throttle, transmission and VHF radio.
This Bertram is powered by two Detroit Diesels with twin Turbos putting out 475 HP each. With her 500 gallon fuel capacity, her range is 300-450 miles at a cruising speed of 18 knots, Add in her Isuzu/BMX diesel generator, which puts out 12KW of power, she is made for those extended fishing trips.

2019 - 100 hour oil change on engines and generator. After coolers pulled, acid cleaned and reinstalled
2020 - Bead blast hull fixed any blister found
2020 Three barrier coats and plus three coats of Micron CSC bottom paint followed by two coats of soft ablative Micron CSC. Pulpit and Marlin tower repainted. Marquipt davit 650lb electronic winch overhauled.
2021 - New twin turbos, risers exhaust manifolds, blankets & water air seps. Fuel polished dual Racors cleaned. 100 hour oil change on engines and generator
2022 - 100 hour oil change on engines and generator. New alternator, water pump and belts and cleaned heat exchanger on generator2023 Vessel pulled and bottom wet sanded and painted with two coats of Micron CSC soft ablative pain. Running gear also painted. Hull compounded and waxed

She has a cruising range of almost 400 miles and a top speed of 35 miles an hour, which makes for refreshing rides up top or comfortable cruising below. Beautiful lush fabrics and teak veneer accent luxury features, which include a giant salon with a convertible lounge. The galley offers a myriad of space and can be equipped to create anything from simple sandwiches to gourmet meals. A full-size refrigerator and a range with an oven are only a few standard necessities. What passengers don't notice right away is all the additional space. There is a pantry that's more than handy, an above-counter sliding locker for additional storage, even a hidden storage opening through a countertop hatch. Continuing below is a master stateroom that's high, wide and handsome, with a large bed and a private head with a stall shower.
