1981 Bristol 41.1 Center Cockpit
Seller has cruised the through the Caribbean and ready to settle ashore.
Hull #3 was built in Bristol, RI in 1981. Designed by Ted Hood, she is a solid classic center cockpit sailing vessel with a keel/centerboard! Shoal draft of only 4’ 6” making her perfect for the Bahamas or lower the centerboard for a draft of 10 feet for improved deep water sailing!
North Sails were installed new in 2021. The bow thruster and Max-Prop will provide added maneuverability in tight docking situations. The cockpit is spacious and comfortable with cockpit cushions, a custom mahogany helm station and folding table and a full cockpit enclosure. Below you will find the beautiful teak and mahogany cabinets and table which are typical of the expert wood craftsman from Bristol Yachts. A newer reverse cycle AC unit keeps you comfortable at the dock. The forward V-berth, queen aft cabin, and two heads provide plenty of room crew and there is even more space as the salon settees pull out for more sleeping areas.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Known to be a well-built and proven sailing yacht, this Bristol 41.1 has logged many hours of safe and comfortable cruising.
Enter from the side deck through the port or starboard boarding gate the side decks are wide and offer excellent maneuverability. Forward is the anchor locker and anchoring equipment. Walking aft and passing by the cockpit the large aft deck features storage and dingy davits with an outboard motor bracket for storage.
The cockpit is a special place with plenty of room for handling lines, relaxing or a morning cup of coffee. The helm offers good visibility and all engine and navigation equipment are within easy reach. The winches are set in position allowing minimal movement in the cockpit. A full dark blue Sunbrella enclosure keeps you dry and warm on those offshore passages. Cockpit cushions on the seats will keep you comfortable. Down the companionway and into the main cabin you will appreciate the beautiful teak wood work, fabrics, upholstery, cane weaved cabinet doors and teak and holly flooring. At the base of the companionway and aft is a hanging wet locker. To port is the navigation station with access to the ship’s manuals and electrical panels. The chart table will hold a chart and there is additional storage under the desk top. Forward and to port is the L-Shaped settee that will open into a double berth. Outboard are storage cabinets and shelves. A flatscreen TV is mounted on the forward bulkhead. Center is a high-low table with two folding leaves allowing dining for six. Across and to starboard is a long settee that allows sleeping for one, outboard cabinets and shelves. Forward is a cabinet and locker. On the port side forward is day head access into the shared guest head. The head features a vanity and sink, toilet, cabinets, and storage. All the way forward is the guest cabin with a V-berth. The cabin has storage cabinets, drawers, and shelving. An overhead hatch allows for excellent ventilation and natural light.
Aft and to starboard in the main cabin is the companionway to the master cabin. In the companionway is the galley complete with top-loading refrigeration and freezer, double sinks, propane oven and ample storage the galley will be pleasing to the onboard chef and allows easy communication with the crew in the main salon. Forward engine compartment and equipment accessibility is in the cabinet under the sink. Additional access is in the master cabin. The master cabin features a double athwartship aft berth with a small sea to starboard, port and starboard cabinets and lockers, outboard cabinets, and access to the private head. The head features a vanity, sink, storage, and multiple mirrors.
GALLEY: Galley is one step down from the salon in the companionway between the salon and the aft cabin. Plenty of food storage and preparation space that will please the onboard chef.
