Overview
Why is this boat priced the way it is? This vessel had taken on water late summer of last year, 2024. As a result, she was pumped out, towed, hauled and has been on the hard ever since. Please see the notes below taken verbatim from a surveyor that has looked her over for insurance reasons. Nothing has been addressed or serviced since she was hauled. We make no claims to her hull integrity or sea worthiness.
FROM SURVEYORS NOTES:
It is unknown at this time 08/24/24 why the boat was taking on water. As part of my inspection, it must be noted there was NO water in either engine oil or in either engines transmission fluid. You can clearly see the high-water mark on the engine stringers indicating the water ingress never reached the top of the motors where water can enter the engine oil via the dip stick. An independent mechanic reported to this surveyor he was not able to hand crank either motor and both starters were bad.
With a big roomy interior, this boat has a 2 stateroom, 2 head layout that will make a great liveboard or coastal cruising yacht. Cat 3208 Diesels with great access and room to work. The cockpit can easily accommodate fishing or diving pursuits and the flybridge has a great enclosure and loads of seating. Of course it needs some TLC but is priced accordingly.
