Overview
Life is better at the lake in this bright and airy 1989 Trojan International 12 Meter (40’) Motor Yacht. With an expansive salon, flybridge, two generations staterooms and full galley this condo on the lake can go wherever you’d like. Comfortable and convenient amenities include a washer dryer, stove, microwave, oven, full size refrigerator, and walk around aft bed in the master cabin with ensuite head. The two Crusader gas engines have only 450 hours after rebuilding and run strong. A LOT of boat with a fair price tag. Shown by appointment in Cleveland, OH.
Recent updates include:
New 50A alternator on starboard engine
New mechanical fuel pump on starboard engine
New Ritchie SS-2000W Flush Mount 4.5' Compass
New fuel sender on starboard saddle tank
New Airmar B60 Thru-Hull Transducer
Sealed and added EVA Faux Teak to swim platform
All new teak on swim stairs and stairs to aft deck
Replaced both batteries with Duracell AGM Deep Cycle Marine batteries
Re-balanced both propellers
New carpet and flooring throughout
Powerboat Review:
Built on the same low-deadrise hull used in the production of Trojan’s successful 12 Meter Convertible, the 12 Meter Motor Yacht was considered a very high-style yacht in the late 1980s. Even by today’s standards, the 12 Meter is a good-looking boat with slightly rakish lines and a well-balanced profile. Below deck, the expansive interior seems larger than one expects to find in a 40-foot boat. An aft-facing dinette is forward in the salon, but it’s what’s underneath that dinette that’s of interest: a huge storage area with a washer and dryer—a rare luxury in a 40-foot yacht. The galley, which is exceptionally large with lots of counter space, is opposite the washer/dryer, and walkaround double berths are
located in both staterooms. A hidden entertainment center rises from a counter in the salon at the touch of a button, and distinctive European galley fixtures add to the impression of luxury. Additional features include a roomy aft deck with rigid weatherboards and a hardtop, wide side decks, and a radar arch.
