Overview
Chapter Two is a 43 foot 2015 Azimut Magellano. Equipped with three staterooms and two full dry heads with separate shower compartments, five people can sleep comfortably on board with their own dedicated air conditioning. Chapter Two can cruise at 8 knots and burn 4 GPH. If you need to cruise at higher speeds, Chapter Two can cruise all day at 16 knots and burn 22 GPH.
Chapter Two is ideal for a cruising couple. With a fully enclosed custom Bimini top, STIDD captain’s chair on the flybridge, makes cruising on the bridge relaing without the wind and the sun all day. And when you go to sleep, you won’t need the generator. Chapter Two is equipped with a DC Air Conditioning system in the master stateroom with an advanced lithium battery system on board.
Chapter Two has other features too. Hullshield is an ultrasonic system that prevents algae and marine growth. The system protects the hull, and all the running gear. The hull is always clean (a big benefit in the Carolinas and Florida) and saves thousands of dollars every year. Overview
The entire battery charging system is comprised of Victron components for compatibility and reliability. The system installed on Chapter Two is very robust. There are three methods of charging the start and house battery banks. All batteries (including the generator) can be charged from shore power, secondly from the generator and finally from the port and starboard the alternators which charge the 24v start and house banks. There are two lithium battery chargers on the boat that can generate over 150 amp/hours of charging capacity.
Power from the house bank is converted to 120 volts via the Victron Multi-Plus II inverter/charger. The inverter powers the DC air conditioning system, two outlets in the master stateroom, two outlets in the salon next to the refrigerator, and all 12-volt and 24-volt systems on the boat.
